 Michal Janečka is a sector specialist for Aerospace and Defense in the state agency CzechInvest. He is in charge of the development of the Czech industry in the given area, providing a comprehensive service package to all representatives from startups, SMEs, large companies, R&D institutions or universities. As part of his activities, he provides, among others, the expert support in investment cases, establishes partnerships between businesses and R&D field, represents the vital mediator between the state level and individual companies and institutions, promotes international projects and cooperation and overall addresses the daily needs and requirements of domestic entities. He also serves as a point of contact for foreign entities interested in the Czech aerospace and defense sector and provides the initial support whatever requirement arises. He has been working in the position since August 2019 within the Innovations Department.
